Eonata Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how subscription cancellations, refunds, and billing adjustments work for paid Eonata plans. It applies alongside the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Free Trial
New workspaces start on a free trial that does not require a payment method. No charge occurs unless you choose to subscribe to a paid plan after the trial. You may stop using the service at any time during the trial without any obligation.
2. Subscription Term and Auto-renewal
- Paid plans are billed in advance for the period chosen (for example, monthly).
- Each billing period renews automatically until the subscription is cancelled.
- Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applied as required by Indian law and shown on every invoice.
3. Cancellation
- You may cancel the subscription at any time from the in-app billing page or by emailing admin@eonata.com from the registered owner address.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your workspace remains active until the end of the current billing period that has already been paid for.
- No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of a billing period that has already started, except where explicitly stated under the refund window below.
4. Refund Window
If you subscribe to a paid plan and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund of the most recent payment within seven (7) calendar days of that payment, provided the workspace has not been used for live business activity beyond evaluation. Eligibility is reviewed in good faith.
- Requests submitted after the 7-day window are not eligible for a refund. Cancellation of auto-renewal still applies.
- Refunds are not available for any custom services, data migration assistance, training, or add-on usage that has already been delivered.
- If a payment was made in error (for example, duplicate charge, gateway retry, or wrong plan selected), please contact us within 30 days and we will correct it.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email admin@eonata.com from the registered owner address with:
- Workspace name and registered email
- Razorpay payment ID or Eonata invoice number
- Brief reason for the refund request
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay within 7 to 10 business days. The actual time the amount appears in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
6. Plan Changes and Proration
Plan upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the current billing period. Plan downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
7. Service Interruptions
If a verified service outage materially prevents you from using core platform features for an extended period, we will, on request, issue a service credit or refund for the affected portion of the billing period.
8. Data After Cancellation
After cancellation, your workspace data is retained in line with our backup and retention policy and is available for export on request. You may also delete your account from the in-app account deletion flow, which removes data in line with the Privacy Policy.
9. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please email us first so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may result in immediate suspension of access while the dispute is investigated.
